Such an amazing place

Such an amazing place, I have to say it is one of the best value for money attraction I have ever visited. The educational fruit tasting show was brilliant with information on the health benefits of each fruit displayed on the day. The tasting was great with the tasting of bizarre fruit, I have never heard of before. The orchid tractor ride was just as educational with a wonderful stop for afternoon tea, filling up on different types of bananas and cashew nuts. Next was down to the Koi pond, they were huge, then to the animal nursery to see all the babies. The boat ride was great stopping to feed the ducks, swans geese, and to test our eyesight to find the carpet pythons. Then to the island to have great train rides, play output, have a yummy sausage sizzle that held up well to the traditional Bunnings sausage sizzle. At end of the day, we were picked up by the tractor and taken back to the cafe. Our day was complete with the best fresh fruit ice cream made with any of the bizarre fruits we saw today. I would highly recommend this attraction, it is easy walking, great for all ages, the staff are amazing and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

Had not been to Tropical Fruit World in many years

Had not been to Tropical Fruit World in many years, so my partner and I decided to go as she had never been. It was an enjoyable few hours, however don't expect something like a theme park etc. The experience is oriented around hopping on a tractor/bus and being taken around the large grounds to get a look at all the different fruit varieties, listen to the guide's commentary, feed some farm animals, and take a little boat and train ride around the property before finishing off with a tasting platter of a number of different exotic fruits (very nice). Would recommend they look at adding some kind of small theatre or video or similar entertainment for those waiting to take their tour, as there's not much to do other than browse the souvenirs or eat lunch. Kids would likely enjoy it, so would recommend for families in particular.

I went with my 2 kids

I went with my 2 kids. They loved the whole day. We were able to see various awsome fruit trees and taste some delicious fruits. The one of best moments was riding a small boat which led us to a small island. We fed a duck family in the boat and the ducks flew to catch bread crumbs we threw out. We fed small animals in the farm, and kids really love that.

The tour was well organised and it included everything that we wanted to see with plenty of time in between locations to enjoy the sights

The tour was well organised and it included everything that we wanted to see with plenty of time in between locations to enjoy the sights. We started off with fruit tasting and then had the tractor tour with a banana, orange and macadamia nuts pit stop. This was followed by the mini train ride, boat ride and then animal farm. We brought our own lunch but there was a cafe with limited selection. There was an interesting gift shop and fruit market to walk around afterwards. no other attractions existed around there so we headed straight back to Brisbane. Overall, the program was manageable with a baby in a pram and an elderly parent.we felt they should have made the program timings clearer so that we could plan the baby's lunch timing better.toilet facilities were decent and a total of 4-5 hours would be enough.

Top tips

"Your admission ticket includes a boat cruise, train ride and a plantation safari on a tractor train, so allow yourself plenty of time for your visit. Take some extra money to purchase some tropical fruits to take home."
